“...I pass onto you what I received from the Lord...” (1 Corinthians 11). The Christian life is one in which we are handed down ways of being, practices and traditions rooted in ancient scriptural truth and storied tradition. Many are simple, life-giving and profoundly beneficial in navigating our complex, sometimes fractured and hurried society today.
In our Simple Summer Series we’ll look at eight basic Christian rhythms and how to grow in them practically. We'll hear from a number of speakers who will frame each talk by asking three simple questions:
- Why does this practice exist?
- How has the Church historically explored this practice?
- How can we explore this practice today?
